Mark Lyons is Fulcrum’s founder and CEO, and Managing Partner. Mark has over four decades of experience in technical leadership and capital planning for universities, laboratories, healthcare institutions, pharmacy centers, data centers, and industrial and commercial buildings. He is a well-known figure in the building commissioning and energy services industries, having documented over $500 million in energy savings and commissioning over 40 million square feet of complicated building types.
Prior to the Fulcrum Group’s founding, Mark worked as the Corporate Director of Engineering and Technical Services for Facilities Resource Management, a management consulting firm specializing in not-for-profit institutions. Throughout his career, he has played a key role on many high-profile projects across the country. Some of these signature projects include the Goldman Sachs Headquarters, Four Times Square, One Bryant Park, the American Museum of Natural History’s Rose Center for Earth and Space, the United Nations Headquarters, The Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, NYU Langone Medical Center’s Skirball Institute for Biomolecular Medicine, and The Rockefeller University’s Rockefeller Research Building.
