Mark Lyons is Fulcrum’s founder and CEO, and Managing Partner. Mark has over four decades of experience in technical leadership and capital planning for universities, laboratories, healthcare institutions, pharmacy centers, data centers, and industrial and commercial buildings. He is a well-known figure in the building commissioning and energy services industries, having documented over $500 million in energy savings and commissioning over 40 million square feet of complicated building types.

Prior to the Fulcrum Group’s founding, Mark worked as the Corporate Director of Engineering and Technical Services for Facilities Resource Management, a management consulting firm specializing in not-for-profit institutions. Throughout his career, he has played a key role on many high-profile projects across the country. Some of these signature projects include the Goldman Sachs Headquarters, Four Times Square, One Bryant Park, the American Museum of Natural History’s Rose Center for Earth and Space, the United Nations Headquarters, The Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, NYU Langone Medical Center’s Skirball Institute for Biomolecular Medicine, and The Rockefeller University’s Rockefeller Research Building.

Stephen Kretzmer is the President of the Fulcrum Group and brings more than 25 years of experience in building commissioning, engineering operations, energy management, and construction. Stephen has overseen many of Fulcrum’s signature accounts, including major energy performance contracts with the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York and the New York Power Authority. He has also provided leadership to high-profile Owner’s representation, energy planning, and commissioning engagements with an impressive portfolio of clients that include New York University, The Durst Organization, and Sea Island Resorts.

Stephen holds a New York State professional engineering license and serves as a partner in Fulcrum's commissioning and technical services division. He graduated from S.U.N.Y. Maritime College with a Bachelor of Engineering degree and is an ACG-Certified Cx Agent and a Certified Energy Auditor (CEA).

Nick Lewandowski brings more than a decade of experience providing capital program planning, energy, and financial planning services to prestigious clients in the higher education, research, commercial, healthcare, and industrial sectors. In addition to leading the firm’s strategic planning and project development practices, Nick also oversees the firm’s commercial operations and spearheads major business development initiatives with a focus on new service offerings, territories, and partnerships.

Nick graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and from the University of Rochester with a Master of Science in Technical Entrepreneurship and Management. He is a licensed professional engineer in New York State.

Michael Montalto is a Vice President at the Fulcrum Group and the firm’s lead Electrical Engineer. He also acts as the General Manager for Fulcrum’s mission-critical line of business, overseeing a wide variety of contract types that include project advisory, construction, operations, and commissioning services.

Mr. Montalto brings nearly 20 years of experience in electrical engineering design, construction, and commissioning. Prior to his role at the Fulcrum Group, Mike worked as a design engineer in Syska Hennessey’s New York City office.

Michael obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College, is a licensed professional engineer in New York State, and is a Member of the NYC Electrical Code Revision Technical Committee.

William McKenna is a Vice President in the Fulcrum Group’s project and technical services division. He is the General Manager of the firm’s widely renowned commissioning line of business. His previous experience includes spearheading the commissioning services for some of the largest healthcare and research projects in NYC’s history. This is in addition to having held executive management positions in large design-build, Owner’s representation, and energy master planning contracts.

William earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering from Lehigh University. He is a licensed professional engineer In New York State.

Patrick Quigley is a Vice President in the Fulcrum Group who oversees the firm’s capital project implementation and construction management division. Patrick brings over 30 years of hands-on construction experience to Fulcrum’s MEP infrastructure project teams. He has served as the executive in charge of sophisticated new construction, building renovations, and energy management projects for hospitals, colleges, and institutional campuses.

Patrick has a Bachelor of Science degree from Marist College and holds various professional accreditations and memberships, including those with ASHE, OSHA, and GBC/AGC.

Lucas Janes is a Vice President in Fulcrum’s technical services division, with a focus on mechanical engineering and energy planning. In his nearly 15 years with the firm, he has played a foundational role in virtually all of Fulcrum’s large-scale infrastructure project planning and design-build contracts. He is routinely called upon by sophisticated developers, owners, and operators to provide technical advisory services to their most complicated mega-projects and mission-critical facilities challenges. His portfolio of clients spans numerous industries, including healthcare, higher education, mission critical, municipal, industrial, and commercial real estate.

Lucas received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Swarthmore College. He is a licensed professional engineer in the State of New York, and is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM).

Danielle Raviele is a Technical Program Manager in Fulcrum’s strategic planning group. She is a key leader on many of Fulcrum's most ambitious energy master planning and project delivery engagements. Her previous experience includes overseeing American University’s district chilled water system upgrade, planning the electrification of district heating systems at the World Trade Center, and energy master planning for more than 5.0 million GSF of hospitals throughout the New York City metropolitan area.

Danielle earned her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University.
