As part of an energy assessment and design/build project completed on behalf of Edward J. Minskoff Equities (EJME), Fulcrum led the design and construction of a major infrastructure upgrade at this lower Manhattan office tower. With the facility’s newest anchor tenant performing pioneering research on the cutting edge of genomics, the core-and-shell infrastructure was in need of increased capacity in both its emergency power and cooling infrastructure. Fulcrum combined the upgrades with energy conservation measures that resulted in significant reductions in energy spending and the securing of utility incentive funding that yielded project payback in less than two years.
